And I refuse to pick a thing.

One of my favourite things to do is take photos. It has imbued my perception of the world with wonder, I am always looking for, and seeing, the beauty in stuff.

I also love writing. I’ve dreamed of being a novelist for as long as I can remember. I’ve also dreamed of being a jeweller, a photographer (see above), a director, a costumier, an investigative journalist, a psychologist and a corporate CEO.

After studying creative writing and journalism, I’ve spent over a decade honing my craft and working out how best to put things.

So I guess what truly excites me is storytelling; sitting down with someone, learning about their life and writing about it (or photographing it).

More than all this though, is my undying, unrelenting love of people. I think to be a photographer or a writer, you kind of have to love people to do the whole thing justice.
